These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of centralpafoodies.com, including its pages, restaurant recommendations, reviews, photographs, forms, newsletters, and related features collectively referred to as the “Website.”

The Website is owned and operated by Central PA Foodies LLC, doing business as Central PA Foodies (“Central PA Foodies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

3. Restaurant Recommendations and Information

Restaurant recommendations and reviews represent opinions and experiences at the time they were written. Individual experiences may differ.

We attempt to provide useful and accurate information, but we do not guarantee that any restaurant information is complete, accurate, or current. Restaurant hours, locations, menus, pricing, ownership, reservation policies, accessibility, service, food quality, and availability may change without notice.

Before visiting a restaurant, you should independently confirm important information directly with the restaurant.

The inclusion of a restaurant on the Website does not guarantee or warrant:

The quality of its food or service
The accuracy of information supplied by the restaurant
The restaurant’s compliance with health, safety, employment, accessibility, licensing, or other laws
The availability or safety of any menu item
That your experience will be the same as the experience described on the Website

You are responsible for making your own dining and purchasing decisions.

4. Allergies and Dietary Requirements

The Website may allow visitors to submit restaurant recommendations, reviews, comments, corrections, photographs, messages, or other materials collectively referred to as “User Content.”

By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

You own the User Content or have permission to submit and authorize its use.
Your review or recommendation reflects your genuine experience and honest opinion.
Your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Your submission does not violate another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other legal rights.
Your submission is not knowingly false, misleading, defamatory, threatening, harassing, obscene, discriminatory, fraudulent, or unlawful.
You have not included private or sensitive personal information belonging to another person.
You are at least 18 years old or your submission has been made with the involvement and permission of your parent or legal guardian.

You retain ownership of your original User Content. By submitting it, you grant Central PA Foodies a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, and perpetual license to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, format, and promote the User Content in connection with the Website and Central PA Foodies’ related social-media channels.

This license allows us, for example, to publish a submitted recommendation on the Website or share an excerpt on a Central PA Foodies social-media account. We will not knowingly alter the material meaning of a review when editing it for spelling, formatting, clarity, or length.

You understand that User Content submitted for publication may become publicly available.

6. Review Moderation

We are not required to publish every submission. We may review, reject, edit, disable, or remove User Content that we reasonably believe:

Violates these Terms
Contains spam or promotional solicitation
Appears false, manipulated, or unrelated to a genuine experience
Contains personal attacks or unsupported accusations
Infringes another person’s rights
Creates a security, privacy, or legal concern
Is duplicative, irrelevant, or unintelligible
Was submitted in exchange for an undisclosed incentive
Is otherwise inappropriate for the Website

Moderation does not mean that we endorse, verify, or accept responsibility for User Content. We do not undertake to monitor every submission or independently verify every factual statement.

We will not knowingly misrepresent visitor feedback or require a visitor’s review to be positive as a condition of submission or publication.

Central PA Foodies may occasionally receive compensation, complimentary meals, invitations, discounts, products, services, or other benefits from a restaurant or third party.

When a material relationship exists that could reasonably affect how visitors evaluate a recommendation, we intend to disclose that relationship clearly in or near the relevant content.

Sponsored content, advertisements, or paid partnerships do not guarantee a positive recommendation. Opinions expressed by Central PA Foodies are intended to reflect our honest assessment.

Visitor contributors must disclose any payment, free meal, discount, employment relationship, family relationship, ownership interest, or other material connection they have with a restaurant they review or recommend.

8. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may contain links to restaurant websites, menus, reservation providers, mapping services, social-media platforms, delivery services, event pages, and other third-party websites or services.

These links are provided for convenience. Central PA Foodies does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, pricing, transactions, representations, or services.

Your use of a third-party website or service is governed by that third party’s own terms and policies. You should review those terms before submitting information or completing a transaction.

A link to a third-party website does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or partnership.

9. Wix Hosting and Third-Party Technology

The Website is created and hosted using services provided by Wix.com and may use Wix applications or other third-party tools for hosting, forms, analytics, communications, mapping, and related website functions.

Wix and other technology providers are independent third-party service providers. They are not parties to these Terms between you and Central PA Foodies.

Your interaction with features supplied by Wix or another third party may also be subject to that provider’s applicable terms and privacy policies.

When you submit information through a contact form, restaurant recommendation form, newsletter signup, or similar feature, you agree to provide accurate information and not impersonate another person.

When you voluntarily subscribe to a newsletter or promotional email list, you authorize us to send communications to the email address you provide. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the email or by contacting us.

Restaurant names, logos, photographs, and trademarks appearing on the Website may belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not transfer any ownership rights to Central PA Foodies or Website visitors.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if we were advised that such damages were possible.
